Mine also says "last updated" today, but it seems like it always shows the date when I last logged in, since every time I check the date changes... Also today is Saturday so surely they haven't been working on it today 🤔 I'm a September filer too.

Do your cases say "last updated" on the date that you logged in? Or a different one?

I just checked mine and it says February 2nd. PD date July 19th.

SEP filers here also but our receipt date is still from Sep 2018 (NOA1)

Could it be that some applications are being transferred because of long processing times?

I was thinking the same. Any chance of a workload transfer?

It seems that workload transfers are announced here: https://www.uscis.gov/workload-transfers

Let's keep an eye on that. Good luck!

Mine's been Feb 6th, even today it still says Feb 6th. Hopefully, soon enough we will know what's really going on with that.

Created a login to check my case last updated. Last updated September 14, 2018. I’m an August filer. My petition hasn’t been touched since then. I know what this update was - I am living overseas and even though my name is on the mailbox in the USA, the USPS returned my NOA1. A copy went to my lawyer which is how I knew they got my application and routed to Nebraska. Sad day. Was hoping for a more recent update. Oh well. My estimated approval now sits around May 30. Still a while to wait.

My 14 year old son leaves on Tuesday to go to stay with his dad while we wait it out here. He told me if we don’t get approved that he wants to continue to live in the USA with his dad while my husband and I stay here. He’s been living overseas with me the last 7 years and I guess he’s just wanting to be a normal kid in school. Too many emotions to process and feeling defeated.

I'm wondering what's the real meaning of "Last updated"! because when i log in today(9-Feb), it said my last update was 7-Feb-19!

:D  I'm a Sep filler.

I'm not really sure. I've been reading around trying to figure it out. My thoughts are that maybe it has been assigned to an officer and in line to be adjudicated. How far in line is the question..  :)

Saw today that mine was also updated on Feb 6th. I am wondering if they are going to transfer our cases or if we're next to be processed. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if it would make a difference, but are you checking from a phone or mobile device or a computer? Don't worry too much though ;)

I used both.  I finally was able to bring more information in a different format.  Sadly mine still just exhibits the priority date 01/12/2018.   No updates, status change or RFE.  Today is the first 30 days of the 60 days they stated to allow for our inquiry about going past normal processing times and over the 1 year mark since receipt of application.   I pray so hard we get good news in the next few weeks.  It has been a long time...so it feels like forever.

i got this email from USCIS. It says we last took your action on your case on Jan 25. Anyone had clue what does it mean. My case status still says the case is received.

My mind spins wondering why they state that cases are reviewed in the order they are received.

In my case they told me it has not even been touched, it is in line to be reviewed, yet they are approving April, May.

It is my understanding they do not do the background checks until it is transferred to the other country.

So why was my case passed up????????
