Well, we didn't send in the actual divorce decree, only his birth cert which has all marriages and divorces listed and notarized. I wasn't familiar with the documents over their nor with the process of divorce. We sort of went with word of mouth. My lawyer gave me the website with the required documents and I sort of skimmed the divorce part. I read the birth certificate part but didn't read close enough to see the and  part. Its a little frustrating it is such a stupid mistake but I am going to forgive myself because I had had ENOUGH of dealing with his divorce and those damn translators over there at the time.

 

btw... each country has a website where they list the required docs (since every country is a little different).. its on travel.state.gov

I think it is also worth mentioning (and kind of funny, imo) that USCIS states in our RFE that we sent HER (his ex-wifes) birth certificate... come on guys... Why on earth would we have access to that???? It is FOR SURE his birth certificate.... smh :no:

What? Really? They do make mistakes as we can see. Well another very easy fix! Let’s do this as your approval is awaiting you 😀

I know right.. to err is human... Hey have you got your rfe yet? I was at Disneyland yesterday and didn’t read any of the forum :D

It is.. just such a relief that it’s that easy.. 

 

Not yet and I’m truly on edge .. haven’t heard from the lawyer either 🤦🏽‍♀️.. so clearly she hasn’t received her copy yet. I hope for today since others with the same RFE date got it yesterday? What  is your RFE days? Also 4/9?

congratulation to everyone who got approved wish you all a smooth process ahead and lot of courage to thr RFE holders

 

this become to hard so i decided to forget about this process for a few days. but was it possible? the answer is no.

when you're missing your half and felling closer in the process  but nothing serious showing that, and by the way you're facing a non organized people and some who aren't really dedicated to what is the future of another human, for me it's so fustrating and  it's difficult. 

yesterday was the second time i decided to run a scan of few case just 30 and when i swa a case after mine got approved while i'm still waiting(i know others go through the same) but i'm devastated.

i'm missing her almost 7 months and i can't visit because the US embassy in my home country will for sure denied me the visitor visa.

so what now? VERY DEAR USCIS.

BUT I'M AND WILL STILL BE HERE UMTIL APPROVAL I'LL NOT ABANDONED BECAUSE AT THE END WE'LL STAND TOGETHER HAND IN HAND THERE AND SAY  THE BIG YES.

Sorry it was long and i dont mean to bother anyone. i ust need to express my own self

I'm hoping mine is easy fix too. Im a dual citizen and didn't add one ofy passports that had my stamps of visiting my fiancee (silly me) and my RFE date is 4/10 (will never forget that day) I haven't gotten a hard copy yet so I pray mine is easy fix too

am I the only one looking at old thread from 2016 - early 2017 wondering what happened to that 2-3month processing time to get the noa2? :(. Lucky me I get to spend time with my fiance every 2-3 month while we waiting for the approval. I don't know how some of you handle  with no visit for the whole process :wacko: You are the real MVP.

They don't usually update anything until later. I'll post the scan results as soon as I get back from work, around 9-10 pm (Eastern time)
