Some states have a long form and a short form version, you want to make sure you get the long form version. You should be able to get it from the county clerk where you were born.

Photocopies of your passport also work. Then you eliminate the confusion of what type of birth certificate you have and whether it's right.

My fiance says the same... That we are going to deal with everything that comes our way and everything will be fine. He is calm and easy and I would search answers for possible RFEs :wacko: . It's such a difficult process, lengthy and hard to understand, but the ultimate goal is being together and that will happen!
