I've been complaining very loudly since October approvals started to the bf haha. It's a bit of a relief to not have to keep refreshing the websites now!

And from NVC to the embassy in Kyiv is almost immediate. They send your information electronically. The petitioner and beneficiary should both receive an e-mail from the embassy within 2-3 business days giving further instructions. You're lucky. Ukraine is one of the quickest countries once you hit the NVC. :D

Im gonna apply in Poland, not Ukraine :) im ukrainian but live in Poland

This is a stressful moment for me. Still waiting for our approval (13/10). I was hoping to get approved when I was still with my fiancé together in Vietnam, at least I’ll leave Vietnam happy knowing that I’ll get to see him very soon. He can’t be in Malaysia currently because the last time when he was leaving (about 2 months++ ago) the immigration officer in Malaysia warned him not to return anytime soon. And today I left Vietnam back to malaysia as today is my last day of my visa. as for him, he decided to go back to US. We’ve done this before because of the problems with Malaysian immigration but it’s starting to become depressing for me. I got no one, no family and I barely got any friends here in Malaysia. I don’t have anyone to talk to. It’s becoming hard to communicate too now since the time difference between Michigan and Malaysia is 12hours. I know there are people having to live with longer time difference than that but I just can’t take it anymore, this is starting to become a form of torture for me. Some day I’ll just sit and started to refresh the apps, run a mini scan again and again, logging in both new and old account and when I see there’s nothing, I’ll just cry. Idk why I’m writing this kind of things here, I guess I just need someone to talk to. :’(

Check the new site too, it seems they lag far behind updating the old site (and thus, the app which is linked to it).

It's ok to moan about a 12h diff - I actually personally find that a larger time difference makes it easier to contact each other lol.

EDIT - Just noticed you said you check it, ignore what I said.

Unfortunately it’s making it harder for us. When we did it before, when he wake up in the morning, I would still be at my part time job that won’t allow phone with me. Right when I got home, I would be really tired and he would already be at work so he can’t talk to me. By his lunch time, I would already be sleeping because I was too tired with working. And vice versa. I’m a really quiet person in real life so I don’t really have friends. I moved around a lot too when I was younger, I didn’t have the chance to make friends from school. My fiancé is my everything. :(

Patience goes a long way. You've waited this far and we are all at the finish line of this race. I hope you get yours soon! Maybe even on Monday!! My fiance and I literally live on opposite corners of the world too and we haven't seen each other in 6 months. We won't be seeing each other now until he is here. Trust me I had ai much anxiety all week last week. My stomach was churning I was stressed out and I kept checking the damn status update. Even my fiance was stressed out. We were venting and taking it out on each other. But after reflection we decided to just relax and keep this out of our minds because the time spent apart will teach us to be more patient, and we will appreciate more the following years spent together. I distract myself with talking to people here because we are all in this together and we understand each other and I just honestly overwork and literally spend the rest of the time at gym otherwise I be stress eating chocolate

I feel you. Weekends? Weekends are often the highlight of my weeks since the 16-17h time difference for us makes it impossible to talk during weekdays.
