*Joke of the day.*

In a "Psychiatric Hospital", a journalist asks the doctor: "How do you determine whether or not to admit a mental patient?"

Dr: "Well, we fill a tub of water and then we give the patient a tea spoon, a glass, a bucket.

He is asked to empty the bathtub.

Reporter: "Oh, obviously, a normal person would use the bucket because bigger."

Dr: "No, a normal person would pull the drain plug to empty the tub! Please go to bed # 39. We will start additional investigations on your case!"
......
😀😀😂😂😂😂
You who read there, you also thought about the bucket, did not you? Also go to bed number 41!
I'm here at 40 ...... 😂😂😂😂
There are still beds available !!!

bed number 42 ...for me please !!!! :help:

Hi @Christy J @BnK @DeepakChani @EllyNelly @ElieSon @Naes..I called USCIS and they gave me the generic response that I could hear something in 90 days, but I could call back every 30 days if I choose. Also she said someone has touched your file, and that person updated that they received the RFE, but it could even take an additIonal 120 days.. UUUUUGH! Why did I EVER! ??

Most of the time they lie because they dont have any idea. They are very good at bullshit. Just call again Monday if you don't hear anything until then and you will get a different answer.

There definitely was a turning point in August (for the better) and I'd say the tendency has been improving since then. I'm also curious about how it has been changing the last months so I'll get an update of my charts if I get some time. I am real busy lately, sorry, but I'll do what I can.

Tell me which months you need.

I’ll update all and send you

But seriously, don't worry about it if you're busy - either of you. You're already spending what I imagine is a crazy amount of time crunching those WAC numbers.

different answer than earlier today when a lady said it could take up to 120 days for my approval after RFE.. so yes, they said we are on September 29th so your shouldn’t be too long 😭

Actually I think the official line on the RFE response says 60 days if you haven't heard anything then call... she's pulling that 120 number out of her #######. Sometimes I wonder what they're playing at... why not just say 60 days like it says in the letter??? What a waste of time that phone line is. I bet there is no job satisfaction to be had amongst those employees.

Just got off the phone with a tier 2 rep. The rep actually put me on hold for a solid 4 minutes so he can look into my case. He said that my case was "touched" on the 17th of April, but he couldn't tell for sure whether it is with an adjudicator or not. He then went on to give me the standard "it is within normal processing time, etc. Not sute what it means, but at least it was looked at, maybe going through some background check, etc. Any thoughts? @Naes

Just got my call back from T2 and the gentleman was really very nice. I gave him a heartfelt "I'm really missing my guy and hoping you might be able to give me an update on my petition" and he laughed and said he would do his best to get me some info. He said that he wanted to let me know up front that their computer systems have been having issues the last two days, so he might not be able to see any info, but after asking a million questions to verify my identity, he said that he did see "movement" on my case and that background checks were being done / had been done but that was all the info he could see. Wasn't sure what to expect, and didn't get a surprise "you were approved yesterday!" but it was pleasant and they called back pretty much exactly when they said they would so not too bad.
