I spoke to tier 2. The guy sounded hungover. He literally told me the same thing as the agent I spoke to a few days ago.

He said I should definitely hear back something within the time limit

He also said something interesting that cases which get approved past my own filed date could be because they are easier to find information on

I dont get it.

My fiance and I have no criminal record. No previous marriages, no children. And there are 5 cases above and below my which are yet to be reviewed. W. T. F

I think is ok   they need time for verification....but  should not take so long ... we only have my divorce ... today is  my day 192. ...  October 16 ... 10 days to verify that? I do not think so ... our package is perfectly classified and organized ... I do not understand !!!! :ranting:

WHAT DO THEY REALLY MEAN BY SIMPLE CASE? i don't know why they're so complicated. in my case, there's no previous marriage, no criminal record, a petition well organised with all the instructions respected. we met 4 times during the last two years so isn't that a simple case? but i still wait and now day 191 so may be i missunderstand it. please what's a simple case

It feels good that I am not the only one...I had a hard talk with J about it that I am giving up my everything, career, houses, friends, and start everything from scratch JUST to be with him, like everything...and this journey is painful.

I love this dude and willing todo so, just sometimes second thoughts came and I am wondering if isn't it better for him to come to Europe instead me to US and he wants to do so...we will see...

Hopefully in 2019-2020 we are back to EU soil ! :D :D

still I have to go through this BS K1 hahah

I relate to this on so many levels, except for me the positions are reversed. I constantly worry about my fiance, who will be giving up an amazing job, all of his friends, and his family to come to the states. We have had a few long (longgggg) talks about this as well. We considered splitting up for the only reason that we didn't want to put our families through something so difficult, but in the end we decided that you can't give up on something just because you want everyone around you to be happy. I think that we finally agreed the most important thing is to be flexible ... if he comes here and he is absolutely miserable, then we will talk about moving to Belgium. And if I go there and I'm absolutely miserable, well ... then we'll have to get creative :)

One of the great things about these relationships is that I feel like we are all excellent communicators, otherwise how would we have gotten this far?? Anyway, I wish you and J the best of luck with your journey - it's so exciting!!

Sasha and I have had similar conversations. She is changing everything, culture, people, country, language... giving up everything to start a new life, basically. I think sometimes the US Citizen doesn't quite think about the sheer level of change our fiance is going through for us, but we appreciate it :)

I would really not have a big problem moving to Ukraine to be together, but we both agreed for an uncertain future, it would be better to both have US passports, and for her to get to experience life here. I suspect will we always just stay in the US anyway, but it was certainly discussed!

Day 195 and case was assigned to an officer. Anyone know how long after this I can expect a response? Or is it like everything else just up in the air? 😭😭

true.. I literally have neither energy nor joy. I keep thinking about our future together to pick my spirits up, but not even that works at the moment. I understand why ppl abandon ship, however, this is bigger than myself so that is NOT even a thought for me. I just don't know how much more I can take.  Just don't get the holdup when it is simple, and our NOA1 dates have passed
