Do you share custody? If not, i don’t think you need his permission.

hi....It seems that each embassy can ask for different documents about kids ... but ask your case to the embassy ...  can be a bad surprise on the day of your interview if you dont have your documents ok. (F)

We are actually only an hour away from Austin 😃

My girls are 12. twins. And yes this immigration process is a lot more difficult if children are involved. They don’t understand why we have to wait so long for the papers.

Anxiously waiting for the approval.

if you consult it by email ... and they say that you do not need any special document ... a tip ... make a copy of the email and take it to the interview ... and if they tell you something different .. .. you can show the email .... in all this process I have found contradictory information from the embassy ...

please can you share a link about informations regarding childen? i'm so sorry the emdassy in my home country do not share any information and their website don't show nothing particular regarding the specific k1 stuff. so unless you got approved the embassy will say or share  nothing. i have one daughter.

i know thing can be different depending on country specificaions but i just need to have an ideas of such things.

7 years now since sepaaration, no contact even on phone we're not sharing nothing

I contacted my embassy via email regarding this issue. On the homepage I couldn’t find anything either.

it seems that each embassy requests different documents for the children ... in Spain (embassy USA) ... they ask me for a Notary Authorization of the father ... authorizing the trip and the residence procedures. But in other embassies  ... only birth certificate ....

I sent email.... and I show them my number case.... for they see.... now I m with my tramit with USCIS. Try it with your embassy...

The same for us. They highlighted that the permission needs to be about immigration and not just traveling.
