so when they send RFE is that after reviewing the entire petition, everything else seems satisfactory except for what they RFE'd me about? Mine was to check the criminal record box, which we did from the beginning (their error but we resubmitted anyway), and to put dates and places on the back of our pics.. I know I need not stress, it is so difficult not to..

@Naes When they send you this RFE - do they ask you to complete a new I-129F? Or they send you the form/pages they require you to complete/provide additional evidence for?

Case tracker app under case history

Is it the case or the expedite application assigned to an officer?

It really depends. It will be explained with the rfe letter

You only have to send what information they ask for. in my case we had to write a new letter of intent to include the clause "within 90 days of arrival".

07/14/18 : WEDDiNG

9/12/18 - AOS & EAD application sent

9/14/18 - Receipt of AOS & EAD

9/21/18 - Notice of Biometric appt rec'd

10/11/18 - Biometrics appt.

1/23/19 - Notice of interview date rec'd

2/27/19 - Interview date & verbal approval

Ah ok, I asked because normally case history won’t show case assignments.

They only ask for additional info. I just sent my RFE back 2 days ago and all they wanted was additional evidence that we've met within the last 2 years.

Got the NVC # yesterday along with this email. I don't recall requesting an expedite, regardless. How or does this change the process at all?

NOA1: 10-30-18
NOA2: 4-2-18
NVC#: 4-24-18 (Stated it would be sent to Emabssy this day as well)

you’re lucky anyways. My NOA1 is 10/13/2017, and NOA2 is 04/06/2018. thought we should wait just two weeks but until now we dont have NVC number. Last week we called NVC and they told us to try calling the USCIS or emailing them because it seems like our case isn’t in their system, something like that, and so we did but they don’t reply to emails for updates. NVC haven’t called yet too or sent letter. Im actually a little worried.

I believe the NVC is taking a little longer to receive and issue case numbers lately.  Ours took almost 3 weeks to be received.  We got our case number 6 days ago, and it's still "preparing to be sent" (so they tell me when I call to check).

They will likely receive it soon, and you'll have a case number shortly.  After waiting so long for the NOA2 with little expectations, it's hard to wait for something that's supposed to go much faster.
