Assumptions guys. That doesn’t happen!

believe me many many many people who applied for expedite already got approvals! I even know an august filer who applied for expedite I think 4 times and rejected and now have the visa!

nothing goes down to another pile!

180 days under current situation is not even considered outside of normal yet.

Nope. He said that it was probably just placed with the January applications because no one looked at it since then when I requested the expedite. I didn’t assume anything and he did say that they should be done within 180 days and stated I should receive a response within a week. Noa1 is October 17

Believe me that would be ridiculous. We had at least 5 people in September only that applied for expedite (and didn’t get it either) and already got their approvals (even before me by the way) and even more people who got theirs.

please don’t believe uscis much...people who talk to you usually have no idea about what’s going on behind the doors with the adjudicators. And they lie A LOT.

Your expedite request might have got lost or put with january stuff but your case itself is in wherever it was. You can create a topic asking about it. Or go ask in September or any other month if you want confirmation.

It’s not a big deal as of now as I will have an answer within a week. Hopefully 😩

You will.. just go through old September topic if you want to read really to relax yourself. We had so many expedite cases (everyone tried it!) I used to joke and call September “expediters” and I know many got their approvals without expedite in normal timelines, and are even having interviews.

October filers wise youre still normal timelines, don’t worry about your case being put with January cases cause that’s not normal. Never been heard before otherwise we would have a huge topic with people complaining about it as there are many many people who are applying for expedite even just to try.

:D This made me smile a lot..

I didn't do this process before so it is my first time, and I don't think I waited too long either but yes I wanted to withdraw...

Started following this forum I think right after my noa1. And also this is the first time ever I even used a forum :D

I started back when they were doing May and asked if I can do the scans for September, and I realized people were struggling to establish a system on the scans for June at that point so I decided to help as many months as I can...And I think that's why people got to know me. I arranged every month just so things can go on.

I read a lot. A LOT. And I have too much free time - I don't understand how Japanese people work till late hours... most companies don't even have that much job to do!- and once fiance sleeps I have the rest of the day doing nothing... but reading :)

Another thing happened and caused these answers I believe is because I answer them.

Some questions will just go and get lost in pages. But I try to go through every month's topic every morning and answer every question that's asked (I don't need to be tagged) However, then August filers made me go crazy (The things I've heard there )... and I stopped answering if I am not tagged and it is not available to me.

I have anxiety, and I know waiting and not knowing triggers it for many others too, so I thought if I was asking a question here, waiting for that answer would make me go crazy and maybe even sleepless...So I try not to leave anyone in that condition.

Faith in humanity restored! What a lovely thing to do @Naes, then again there are soo many people in this forum who are really really helpful!

Wow this is awesome! I can't imagine life in Japan but it's great that you decided to help people here (work) and offer some guidance to those feeling a bit lost or clueless. It's also good that you know your anxiety triggers and have used communicating/helping in the forums as a relaxation skill... keep up the good work!☺

Hey guys, i am not from this month filler just applying, but i posted a question and havnt gotten aswer maybe one of you can help please?

I am petitioner and i visited my home country for 2 months to visit my family and fiancee. Do i need to write adress abroad in last 5 year physical adresses or should 2 months visit is just a visit.

What u guys did? Thank u so much

Anywhere you have lived in the past five years, and living there have to be more than 6 month.

So therefore anywhere you live 5yrs ago and you didn't stay for more than 6 month than it doesn't count.

@Naes maybe you know if the case is approved to expedite how long does it usually take for them to review the case? Thanks
