Oh gosh!!!! thanks so much @Naes meant a lot.

As happy as I am to see people moving forward, can't believe its taking a toll on me.  I don't wanna overthink but I feel like if this is gonna delay so much and my POE will move to Aug, maybe I'll change plans and just move there next year. But I'm not sure how my fiancee would feel about that.... Just crazy. I so badly wanna send my resignation so I can start with that one month clearance and move forward. But I can't unless I get this NOA2....... #RantOver

Thanks a lot...I know I just gotta be positive..... #TrustTheProcess

Hi @BnK, same here! I am normally very strong but man this is one thing that has pushed me to my limits.. I am rooting for you and others; especially us that got that silly RFE. We ALL need to be with the ones we love~! Ugh.. I need to be calm

Right.. makes sense.. I was asking if the last update means that is when they received the RFE response? Just so I can gauge if those two I mentioned were between the 7-10 day mark as they appear to be

Ok i need guidance... Im kinda confussed atm! lol

my fiancee just recently MOVED! a week b4 our case was accepted. We were trying to update his address b4 this happened.......I called USCIS and they had me write letter to update his address.. I called twice so they gave me different ANSWERS! gah !!!!!!!! So.. I decided to mail his  address to both locations that was told  by the agents...(btw they aren't friendly!) certified the mail.

My fiancee is currently working on his vaccines , getting his birth certificate translated and getting his police clearance....

WHATS next for me to do as petitioner..

Yep! That exactly means that. So I believe as long as the adjudicator touches your rfe as both of your rfes seems simple enough, and if rest of the case is good to go, you’ll get the approval. I wish we knew how far they go before sending out rfes..

Address of beneficiary can be changed at the embassy stage by mailing to the embassy when you get he case number from NVC.

petitioner should get ready financial evidence and affidavit of support form I-134 and send it to the beneficiary.

@Naes I thought the petition was "good to go" except for those simple things with the RFE. No? They have to go back through it again? Like no background checks have been done? OMG

No no they don’t go back through the line.

Again this is mostly for evidence on initial screening: as they cannot make a decision for example if the couple really met, they would have to review it after getting the evidence.

thats pretty much it as far as I understand.

so to be clear, what u understand is that once they get my RFE response they look at that and then approve? I was thinking they reviewed the entire petition, but had those concerns, and so once they get them and then review them they can now approve.. no? @Naes.. As u can tell, I am over the edge officially

That’s what we think, yes.

if the rfe was just a formality for an unanswered question and does not affect the initial decision, it should be quick.

I feel the same. RFE seems like as good as an approval but only until u can provide the things they need.

And since ours is just for the quota, i hope they wont spill that coffee on our papers again. 😂🤔

yes mine as you know was just that the criminal record box was not checked, but it was so I "rechecked".. Then they wanted dates and places on back of pictures ONLY. Seems simple enough @Naes @BnK

So no approvals at night? okay, good to know
