HI. there is someone from California. urgently need help. we got RFE because of not enough evidence of divorce. they need a certificate of divorce. but my guy says that in California there are no certificates of divorce. but there is a decree that he sent them on 35 pages

hello...I did not send a certificate of divorce ... because in Spain the legal document of divorce is the judicial sentence ....( several pages) ...

I asked at the embassy and they told me to send the sentence. But I still do not have the NOA2 ....Im waiting.... 

State is Texas.

He needs to go to the county courthouse the divorce was filed at and get a certified copy. The clerk at the courthouse will stamp a seal on it with some information identifying it as an official copy. It will also have the signatures of the judge on it. Will probably cost $5 or $10.
