Oh Sara :( im sorry to hear... i got you girl!!!! We are almost there, ive had a ####### two weeks thinking/checking the forums & the app & I realised i need to go back to focusing on my current days & let time pass without trying to get frustrated.. easier said than done 😂😂

I know how you feel about starting a family.. ive had some health issues which caused a concern over fertility & ive been ‘told’ by my doctors to not ‘leave it to late’ so yeah, we would like to start next year but this process needs to crack on & happen so we can take the next step!

Hopefully our week next week!! 🤞🏻💜

Oh meisha when that time comes I hope it comes easy and without any complications!! ❤

I hope we hear soon! And we can start a normal life with normal frustrations. Lol like us nagging our husbands and telling them to keep the toilet seat down.😋

It is all around painful  just to be with the one you love! We must have faith I don’t see another way out. If not, we will bear this pain alone

Exactly right. I have faith, I just get a little impatient sometimes lol. But honestly having you and everyone in this community who share the same concerns and understand each other is a huge help.

My fiance and I have been waiting for over a year. We applied last year in February after we were officially engaged. But we hadn't seen each other in more than three years. Last time I saw him was when I met him in 2013 in London. We kept in touch. Long story short, things happened we didn't officially decide to get married until 2016. My mistake going to a lawyer, she told me it wasn't a big deal if we didn't see each other within 2 years. That we can just show it's because of cultural hardships etc. And I didn't want to delay applying because I've never even heard of this so called fiance Visa. Anyways, we've been through this process before and we were denied in September last year. Obviously within the time we applied and after I visited him twice. So instead of spousal thinking its still the quickest route we refiled. Although I am maintaining a positive attitude, it sucks... I wish this was over. I just want him here or anywhere seriously so we can think about starting a family..

Rant over lol

Just wanted to share.

And thanks so much for the love!! You are all great and I hope we are all with our better half soon

Stay strong. .... . Almost over gods willing

WOW.....too weird because i was having the same anxiety and dreams last night. I woke up this morning exhausted feeling like I had wrestled all night long!

yep, what we get from checking every now and then. Lol but who can blame us? this is our future on hold and they're already starting to adjudicate dates beyond ours. Who wouldn't have anxiety when we really have no idea what's taking ours longer than others..... But we will hear soonest, let's stay positive.

Hello, I have a question. We filed october (obviously lol) but he officially proposed and gave me a ring just last march.

If they ask during the interview when we got engaged what should I say? :D

Just tell them the truth. I've known other couples that were not yet engaged when they filed, they had only been discussing what the future held but were confident they wanted to move forward and so started the process. You just have to have intent to marry, and that could have been discussed informally before making it formal with the proposal.
