How long after the RFE mail was delivered did they update it to received? Ugh 😑... 🙏🏽🙏🏽

It's 5,30AM here now and my daily morning routine is to check USCIS app, old website & new website hoping for APPROVAL, I was shaking after seeing this, the first thing I did is cry and kneel, prayed to GOD and thank Him for all of this. Here's a new and rare case status for your collection. My petition from last March was finally updated from "received." The embassy in Kyiv said they took care of this back in February... Nothing is fast! Keep up the hope and good spirits, folks!

Don't have access on the new site. My fiancee don't wanna stress out too much on this process so I just didn't ask him to log in there and I didn't log in myself anymore. 

 

Is yours not yet received on the site? Mine changed from 'RFE sent' to "USCIS RFE was received'  yesterday around 9pm Cali time. We mailed on the 16th, so they received it after 2 days.

Yeah. I filed a petition last March that was approved, but I submitted a letter to have it formally withdrawn at the embassy stage last September. Long story short: my then fiancee had an unrecoverable meltdown dealing with the DS-160 (it's buggy and she was worried that the inability to completely fill out the form would ruin her interview) and then other issues came to light while trying to work through that problem which resulted in us terminating our relationship. I got an e-mail in February saying they sent the case back to the Department of Homeland Security (USCIS). It looks like the embassy finally got it back to USCIS. Fast forward to today and I'm unexpectedly waiting on another NOA2 with my current fiancee that I initially didn't even want to talk to because I didn't want to do this all over again.

Wow.. i admire your determination & patience.. im sorry it didnt work out right at the last hurdle but im a firm believer everything happens for a reason... & clearly it does!

 

I bet you got excited seeing the email then noticed its not for the right case... USCIS is a tease!!

The mutual friend of my fiancee and I had been trying to get us together for almost 3 years, so it's really her that can take credit for the determination and patience. In the end, she was absolutely right. I haven't ever felt so comfortable or "at home" with anyone in my life. It was really like meeting an old friend that I hadn't seen for years. We can talk and laugh about anything for hours. I really tried hard to find reasons not to be with her or red flags that I noticed and ignored with my ex, but I haven't been able to find anything. She's worth it even though this really does suck having to do this all over with the worry of how the old petition may affect this one.

Exactly! I saw an e-mail from USCIS and I thought "Uh-oh. This is way too early. Something must be wrong, or maybe they made a mistake and grabbed the wrong stack of papers!"

I hope you get good news soon and you're able to find each other together again as soon as possible! The absolute feeling of joy when you finally see that letter is something that not everyone gets to experience, but we all will! It will make all the frustrations and pains of waiting melt away in an instant. I promise!
