Every morning I am hopeful and have a feeling "today is the day" and then by night... 😭

I legitimately have dark circles under my eyes and people notice! I eat right and exercise and even sleep 6 to 8 hours

The cause- stress from constant waiting without knowing what and when

Everytime I took one tiny step towards the wedding I start crying. I just can’t plan anything anymore while not knowing if I’ll be at the wedding.

we did the save the date part on Facebook it has a disclaimer! A DISCLAIMER! Bride may not make it! How is this ok??

So I chose “maybe” at the event page. Cause it is a huge maybe.

Same here. Everytime when me and Ivan talk about our wedding, I’ll burst into tears because we can’t plan anything. We booked a place but I don’t even know if we’re gonna make it so Ivan cancelled it. :(

Yea..

I have no excitement left. I don't even talk about it. I just want my fiance here with me safely so we can begin our life.

This process sucks the life out of you.

Same here. I’m no longer excited since we don’t think we’re gonna make it and Ivan cancelled the venue we booked last year. All I want now is to be by my fiance side and not having to say goodbye anymore. :’(

I feel you.

When was the last time you saw him?

12 days ago in Vietnam. Not long but still hard for me because I don’t have anyone to talk to. Glad that I found this forum. :’)

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between a Request for Additional Evidence and a Request for Initial Evidence?

I'm not sure, there are A LOT of different possible statuses, there are even statuses worded differently but being the same one. In this case I'd say that the adjudicator selected Request for Initial Evidence when it actually was a Request for Additional Evidence. If I have to guess, Request for Initial Evidence is sent soon after the cases get there, if there's something obvious missing, which is why it wouldn't make sense at this point. But again, I'm just guessing. Maybe someone who got a Request for Initial Evidence can say if there's any real difference.
