Although as an auditor, I also imagine they have a checklist that they have to go through all the information and be able to sign off that it was included in the packet. I finally had to leave the auditing world because I felt like all i was doing was filling out checklists. Now I just prepare financials and taxes.

So this means they have gone through our petition checked off all they have, and sent RFE for what they do not and then upon second review they check those new things off, and voila ? ugh

Ran a mini scan around my case - nothing yet but it’s still early enough.

 

I just got off the phone with a Tier II officer (super sweet lady) who said that there was movement on my case 4/11; however, nothing has shown anything reflecting that movement on the app, old site and new site. She did say the case has been assigned....

 

Is this his good news?? Idk....

Typically, if you case has been assigned to an officer, it means that you are closer to approval, since your case is not just getting dusty on some USCIS shelf but is actually on some officer`s desk. Now it depends on how quick the officer will be able to process your case. Every small step in the right direction counts!

That is some news and any news is good news!! When I spoke to tier 2 yesterday they said that my file is with the adjudicator. It means that it's not pending security checks. We just got stuck with a slowpoke

Girl it's been a waiting day since I filed lol

But yes if he did say that it's with someone then it most likely is. And it's a waiting game. And also immigration officer we talk to dont have access to our files. I think they have the same access we have when we log in to the new website. Tier 1 has basic access. I wish we could speak directly to adjudicators.

sorry but.... what is Tier II?
