Good Morning everyone. I have our RFE response sent in and now waiting.  Does anyone know how to update the address for the beneficiary? I tried to do the change of address on the USCIS website but that looks like it's only for the petitioners address. Will there be a time once we receive the NOA2 that we can update his mailing address?

Was your RFE also something simple?

His address will only matter when you fill out the ds160 which is after approval and when NVC gives you a new case number

We did not have "within 90 days of arrival" in his intent to marry. So this time i found the sample letter of the intent to marry and we both wrote new letters that was sure to include that clause. Not sure if it was necessary but I also included a short paragraph about the church name and pastor name and a few other wedding details we have been able to tentatively arrange. They also wanted clarification on how we actually were introduced and met and I guess I wasn't too clear on the love story part in the initial application. I had put mostly details of my two visits only in the application so I wrote a one page narrative from the initial meeting and who introduced us to the present how we still communicate daily. I also recopied my passport stamps and labeled things a little better so hopefully there was no confusion. Finally I added a one page of some screen shots showing our daily call log so they know the relationship is still ongoing even though it wasn't necessary. I figured it would help in the next steps

To everyone that is still waiting, don't give up! Your NOA2 will be there soon. You're already made it for 6-7 months so it would make no sense to give up now. I've been reading too many posts of people giving up the person they're willing to spend the rest of their life with because this wait. It's hard but nothing good in life comes easy (F)

Amen and Amen!

I had to take a little sabbatical from the forum and checking cases and thinking about the whole thing on April 5th because I was making myself sick. Wouldn't you know on the 6th I received the RFE.

I am hearing that they sometimes approve RFEs within a couple days of receipt up to a couple weeks. What have u heard?

I think it depends on the information and the case workers load. I have worked in a CPA firm and I know how it is when we would get additional information we needed on an audit. If it was something simple and we were not deep into another audit it would go quickly, but if we were focused on another audit that simple piece of information could sit there for a few days. I'm hoping though to hear by the end of the month is what I'm telling myself.

good luck to a fellow auditor! I work as an Internal Auditor and this is exactly how I would handle additional information too.

I completely agree, especially since they are not holding off some financials, they are holding off peoples lives.
