I feel like such a fool.  I really wish now I had just married my fiance and went the k3 route.  I did it this way under the assumption that this was the quickest way but by the looks of it, i don't think i made the right choice.

Thanks @Naes,

That sounds about right. We were expecting something like this as we missed a few key documents in our rush to apply. Was just hoping it would be a normal RFE, this one makes me much more nervous.

We have everything ready to go so we should be okay. I'll be sure to update here when we receive the notice.

I say you wait it out now because let's look at the bright side is we are almost at the end of this process.

However if you go the marriage route you can apply for k3 which takes honestly the same amount of time as k1 is taking now.

I am honestly just diligently waiting but i understand @Naes feelings now of wanting to withdraw. This process is so draining. It makes you bitter

You and me Both, i had read that the K1 process was so much faster and the marriage route takes a year or 2. So I did the K1 and how its about the same, i have friends that did the marriage route and their spouses were here in about 6 months but with green card in hand unlike the K1  where you have to wait another 6 months before they get the green card. Plus K1 is more expensive. But with all that said, we are here now, no turning back, we just have to move forward and march on. we will be victorious.

one thing is sure we're not going to the withdrawal

no not at this time when we're felling so close dear friends

and that is what makes the things more difficult because every day you thing in your mind that you're close but anything good confirming it to you but discouraging you instead because of seeing some approoval behing your receive date while yours still receive.

and wee're are in a complete blind process no report  on what is going on.

@JoshMiki What did you miss out of curiosity?

Also, seeing some RFE action in minis now.

A lot to be honest. We knew the wait time was long so we wanted to get our application in as soon as possible to start the waiting process, in hindsight not the best idea. This was before we found this website too to help us prepare a good package.

We have since collected everything together from the guides so we should be okay so long as they give us an opportunity to submit them

All I can say give yourself time till two weeks after they start November(that was my panicking point too... and that’s when things get hard... really hard....)

after they start november they start a good number of october approvals in bulls for days. That’s when they do every single date.

it does makes us bitter....

Once they get it tomorrow, when do you think they will process it? I assume they send RFEs  for things they need in order to approve the petition, right? ugh

I would hope so. My friend went through same and she got her approval 2 days later after they received it
