Yeah but he was just an employee and he must only have 2 rules:

1. The boss is always right.

2. If the boss is wrong, go back to Rule 1.

Omg! I just want the NOA2, I truly think this is the hardest part of the process up to when the visa is issued 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes but I am honestly a little anxious after the NOA2. After this everything will just be fast.

In our country, we have available schedule for interview the following week so its pretty fast.

I just feel there's still too much to do in a 2-month time frame.

I want to tender my resignation now so I can start with my 30-day clearance and prepare all my stuff but I guess its best to tender once we actually get the approved visa.

Its a little overwhelming to be leaving everything soon but can't wait to start a family with my fiancee and meet everyone.

I am sure it’s overwhelming.  It will be wonderful! I’m just wondering if they’ll start reviewing our petition all over once they get our RFE response? I’m just 🙏🏽🙏🏽 For the NOA2 for us ALL

I'm guessing it wouldn't take long. Based from what I read here, if something came up during the background check we may not hear anything from our case till they figure it out... But we will know next week. 2 weeks of waiting since the RFE on top of all the other wait... this is all gonna be worth it <3

So they haven’t done background yet? 🙄 so that means they’ll be reviewing the whole petition again... 🤦🏽‍♀️

Wait.. how do we know they haven’t done background checks yet? Wouldn’t they run the background before the officer even receives the case to review?

That’s my question.. I’m trying to know if all they do is look at the responses to the RFE and then approve or what? 🤦🏽‍♀️ @Naes any help?

not really sure but what I meant is that there will be no RFE or anything if they saw something during background check. We will wait in vain.

In our case, I believe they only need our reply so they can finalize our approval.

That’s what I thought. I’m sure they’d say something already .  It would be crazy if they haven’t done background yet but went through all the petition and requested specific things

There can always be more than 1 rfe however it is extremely rare and usually unrelated.

Decision after receiving usually comes within 1 week to 3 weeks (sometimes only a few days- especially for a trivial thing like this) however note that it can and sometimes does take up to 60 days, as this is what they give as the limit.

again, however, they tend to resolve rfes faster. I was panicking so much at the end because all they touched on my date was rfes and not virgins. That’s how fast usually rfes are resolved.

I see no no reason to panic (unless you have anxiety like me.. me I go literal crazy... like abandon everything crazy) up till the second week after next month starts for virgin cases tho.

If background checks weren’t done they wouldn’t even adjudicate your case at this level.

This all makes sense.. so again we are all just waiting.. and with our simple RFEs we should be grateful! I’m just a nervous wreck, but you’re saying you see where they process RFEs before virgin cases, right? Mine was overnighted today Monday, when might they receive and touch it again ? 🤦🏽‍♀️ Questions, questions, questions! Thanks VJ family

It all depends on the nature of rfe of course. But yes that’s what I’ve seen.

i even seen rfe received turn to approval the very next day. (But then again don’t expect that just to be cautious.. because I’ve seen probably 20000 cases so far so my statistics is a little different when I say I saw a case like that)

Anyone using a joint sponsor ? I’m a little confused as I’m independent, so my household number is 1. My mother lives in my house and has a dependent (my brother) but her household info is 2. If she were to be our joint sponsor

1) what form would I use because I know there are 2 different ones depending on wether or not you live together & are on their taxes

2) would she need the income requirements for a household of 3 or4

any Info would help! Thanks :)
