Entry with a B2 while EB3 is ongoing

Hi. I would just like to ask, will there be a red flag raised if I enter the US on a B2 with an ongoing EB3 petition?

I have been to the US multiple times and never overstayed my visa. Just last year my I-140 for EB3 was approved and now still waiting on Priority Date of Jan 2017 to be current so I can further continue the process.

This summer, I plan to visit the US for 3 months. I am definitely going back home because the consular processing will be done in my home country (Philippines).

Will there be red flags raised? The last thing I want to happen is be denied entry. How do I avoid this if I get questioned? Do CBPs at the airport have access to records of visa applications?

You already have the B2 I presume. Yes, CBP will know your various visa applications. Make sure you bring enough evidence to show that the particular trip you will be making will be temporary - such as a letter from your employer that you have taken vacation and are due back on x date, evidence of accommodations you have an ongoing rental contract for, etc. There is no guarantee that you will be admitted however.

Yes B2, valid for 10 years. Been to the US on that same visa at least 5 times over the years with no problem even after I-140 was filed. I have a house and mortgage under my name here in the Philippines, family owned land and business that isnt under my name YET, and no direct relatives in the US. I was just wondering if the case is different now that the I-140 has been approved. Thanks for the reply.
