Selective Service System registration After getting Green Card

I got my green card. I Adjusted from K1.

It says that I have to register in the SSS if I am between 18 26 I think. But I went online on SSS website , they say you can't register if older than 26.

I came on K-1 before 26. I got the green card after 26. So what do you think, is it OK that I didn't register when I came on K1 ? And do I have to contact them about that now ?

The reson why I am asking, is that they prevent you from many benefits if you are not registered...Including citizenship.

It required if you between 18-25. You 're 26, so it not apply to you.

What about the time I was here on K-1 and not 26 years old yet ?

Read the link. It only apply to US citizens or male immigrants. When you come to USA on K1, you're not LPR at that time.

Your age during K1 is irrelevant to SSS, only the age when you got became the US resident matters which was after you were 26 so no SSS for you. So just relax
