I agree, it seems pretty simple.  I think they want to know how you connected, and when you met in person.  Be truthful.

Good Luck!

Truth usually works

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

What is expected of you if you are being asked "where you met your fiance and how". I have an interview very soon and i want to be prepared.

That question can sometimes be a little tricky such as when or where did you meet your fiancee/fiance or spouse because it can be misinterpreted as meeting that individual in person..My husband was asked both and his response was through Facebook for both questions and then the CO asked him have we ever met and where did we meet...If asked which I am sure you will be, just give your honest responses...Never make the mistake of being dishonest because before you sit in that chair, they already know more about you than you think they do...Just go in there with a lot of confidence and be sure to greet CO and make direct eye contact..Good luck on your journey!

Examples follow (just made up; YMMV). Just be honest in describing the location, the approximate time, and the context.

If you met in-person:

Quote

We first met in Kano, Nigeria in December of 2016. She was back home from the US for the Christmas holidays and was visiting her cousin, who is my best friend. We got talking and clicked almost immediately (with a sheepish smile ).

If online:

Quote

We first connected on Facebook in early March 2016. She had made an interesting comment about a video on why the government needed to invest more in Nigeria's youth, which resonated with me. So I liked her comment and sent a friend request. We chatted afterwards for several months, and then met in person for lunch in Lagos during the July holiday.

If "arrangee":

Quote

We first met in last December in our village in Lafiagi. Five years after I'd graduated from uni, my mom really wanted me -- her only son -- to get married, so she secretly arranged a meeting with this girl during the holidays in the village. It was awkward at first, but she had this lovely smile...

I understand why you are preparing the answer for the interview, but no one can give you exact answer since we are not knowing how both of you meet. Tell them the truth and you will be okay. Don't lie just because you feel like your answer is not good enough. The CO asked me that question during my interview before, and I answer it truthfully. My answer is straightforward "we met through a mobile phone game called Township"

It might be a good idea to have the same answer that is in the K-1 petition.  They already read that part. If your answer is different there may be additional questions.
