sister mags, it was a terrible and horrid way to die and sadly, in my readings allot of them suffered from seizures or mental illness

Yup, it was. The sad thing was all of them were innocent. They were simply the herbalists or midwives of the local villages. They were the women that the locals would turn to for help.

What was even worse was that Matthew Hopkins was a fraud. He had a quota and he was going to reach that whatever way he could...

a sad history world-wide and in america of religious bias....i know several of the Indian tribes were forced to accept a new religion and their children sent to missionary schools....but, i know on allot of reservations the traditonal belliefs have resurfaced...

in zuni, when i was the director of community services, i used kiva leaders to lead groups...and the focus was on beliefs and reinforcing the zuni way, that is against etoh and drug usage and one with oneself

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I am amazed at the beliefs of other cultures. What doesn't make sense to us, makes sense to them. Strange!

At least the villagers didn't invite Santana to come and perform "Black Magic Woman" for the event! No need to tell me that I have a sick sense of humor...I already know this ;)
