Folks also do we need to submit AOS and ds230 together application or can we submit it separately to speed up process?

Husband did, but perhaps they assigned the case number at 11.59PM or something, LOL. We only got it today. I am just going to keep trying the numbers even before the welcome letter comes, just in case I can start paying fees earlier.

I tried to sign in but it’s not allowing me so I guess I have to wait on the welcome letter. If u get to sign in let me know:)

NVC case received on March 15th no pivot case, I hope by April 15th to receive a case number.

Hi guys i have 2 questions. NOA2 January 25. NVC received February 9. NO case number yet from NVC.

 

My wife is petitioning for me and we've lived abroad for 2 years now. she hasn't filed for 2017 tax yet because she had a part time job which salary is way less than the threshold required to pay and didn't know how to file from abroad. now we want to file from turbo tax online. what should we do when the i-864 comes? shall we just submit 2014,15,16 tax returns?

 

second question,,, my police certificate of my current residence expires in 2.5 months.  I will send it soon to the NVC but what if it expires by the time of the interview? will they request a new one at the embassy? thanks.

Yes you’ll definitely have to get a new police certificate for the interview for sure

If you are talking about DCF, $535 ( I-130 ), $325 ( IV Immigrant fee ), there is no fee for AOS overseas except in the States would be $120. Plus medical exam depends the cost for every country

Will do. I just found out they assigned my case number last Thursday! If you go to the NVC Wiki you can find out how the case number works. I don't know why they didn't tell me the case number when my husband called last Friday. And of all things it was the first case to be assigned a case number that day. Oh well!
