Hi all..what's a pivot case? keep seeing it come up..Nvc received march 9. Thanks

Pivot case means that if your case number begins with some certain prefixes than you are suppose to send all financial and supporting documents electronically, as attachments via an email.

Pivot case means your country's consulate handles the entire case electronically rather than through snail mail. Difference between that and regular case is that the case number takes much longer to assign (looks like 8-11 weeks right now for pivot)

Please update spreadsheet with timelines for case number assignment... https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe1EpL3DRn848N3DkuFdSDcvjdiMYxLSXRSpse1mH0k13rioA/viewform?fbzx=1023277948343724800

Hoping for a quick case complete for you!

How long after the money was taken out of your bank account did it appear as “paid.” Same day?

I got an email early this morning that the money was taken out of my bank account but it still appears as “in process” on CEAC. Maybe I’m being too impatient.

Mine says "in process" as well. I believe tomorrow or wednesday is going to change for Paid.

Not that I know of, it's possible other VJ members have compiled a list somewhere on this forum.

You can also look at spreadsheet and try to find someone from same country to see if they're pivot or not.
