I believe you don't have to submit any passport size photos online. You do have to take them to the interview. Maybe someone else can confirm? Or call NVC to confirm just in case.

On the ceac page, there is an option to upload photos. Thats why i asked. Can someone who has done this part help? There is an upload for passport, photos, birth certi, and police cert... Anyway what do I upload on the photo option?

Since I have passport photos on hand, I just uploaded those. I have seen others just uploading a note saying that will bring passport photos to interview.

The payment options seems to be different for everyone. Some have been able to pay both the same day or the day after they received their case number. I have completed the Choice of Agent(DS-261), but I do not yet have the option to pay AoS nor IV fees. I'm hoping those options becomes available soon!

It seems so. When we got our Case No.....DS 261 and AoS option was open. After we paid and AoS turns into "PAID". The IV option is still close. Maybe tom it will open. Its Sunday there.

That's true anywhere from getting case number to case complete could take 3 months and extra month for interview depending on availability

Whole process from NVC till interview can take 3 to 5 months

Once NVC gets your case from USCIS it can take from 5 weeks to 8 weeks to get Case number it can take more as well for me it was 12 weeks as they had miscommunication from USCIS end .. however you should generally get it within 8 weeks call and check with them regularly like once a week

Once you get Case number

pay fees once they open portal for payment

You've to fill in DS 261

Welcome letter will be sent to you

Once its paid and you get welcome letter submit documents

You just have to wait for NVC to give you Case complete and once you get that you'll get interview date and email...

However people on this thread do correct me if I'm missing out on any step as I did all this with help of lawyer..

Did you get your case number?

Also follow topic thread 'Case Complete to interview May 2018' for complete information and time taken as people have posted their complete journey from start to end as per current time frames

Call NVC and ask to review your choice of agent over the phone, this will save you a few weeks. Then couple days later the AOS fee should be payable, pay that then allow up to a week for that to be processed then the IV fee will be able to pay. Once that has been processed you can fill out your DS-260 and send in supporting documents.

Would you happen to know which menu option I would choose in order to be connected with someone who will review the DS-261?

USCIS:
2017-07-17: Sent I-130
2017-07-21: NOA1
2018-02-12: NOA2
NVC:
2018-03-06: NVC received case
2018-04-12: NVC Case #
2018-05-10: Pay IV fee

2018-05-16: Submit AoS/IV documents
2018-05-21: Scan Date
2018-05-24: Case Complete

2018-05-29: Interview scheduled for July

Embassy:

2018-07-17: Interview date

Doesn't matter who fills in each one. Whoever is able to do it can do it.
