Yesterday I paid and got transaction reference on the top and showed " in process " then today I got another email from NVC the same one as yesterday. I log in CEAC and saw saying " pay now " but the transcation reference still there " in process " in receipt section. I just sent an email to NVC the only tool I can communicate through. :(

Give it 2-3days it will clear, same thing happened to me...evenif it says pay now it’s still in process, tomorrow or next it will change to paid and the money will be deducted, but if it exceeds 7days then you probably have to pay again

Give it time same thing happened to me,I called them and explained it to them but the told me not to pay again that even if it says pay now it’s still in process,I checked 2days later and it changed to paid and money was also deducted from my husbands account, click on the pay you will see payment receipts see if the iv fee says in process if does then give it time say 2-3days it will clear and show paid.

I'm very pleased with your help!! They should not send me another second email with invoice id & IV payment that made me very stressed. Everything is overloaded on me because I could not  make a phone call to solve this issue :( At least I have to give myself some PATIENCE for this. Good luck with yours! :D

I can't believe he hasn't sent it yet!! I would be livid...you could've had a case complete by now! Is it possible to just get them back & send them yourself? I know you paid him, but at this point there's nothing he can do that you can't do yourself & probably better!

Trust me. I wish I can. But my husband still wants to continue with a lawyer. I'm very frustrated. I won't let them pass Monday without submitting the paperwork. Did you get your CC yet?

Yes we got our CC on April 4th & yesterday we received the interview email, our interview date is May 18th. I wouldn't give that lawyer another dime as you go forward! But luckily NVC is working fast now & once your paperwork is submitted it shouldn't take long to get cc!

Call NVC to review your DS-261 or you could be waiting a couple of weeks!

NVC doesn't do this automatically after it's submitted? When I call, what menu option do I choose to have them review it?

USCIS:
2017-07-17: Sent I-130
2017-07-21: NOA1
2018-02-12: NOA2
NVC:
2018-03-06: NVC received case
2018-04-12: NVC Case #
2018-05-10: Pay IV fee

2018-05-16: Submit AoS/IV documents
2018-05-21: Scan Date
2018-05-24: Case Complete

2018-05-29: Interview scheduled for July

Embassy:

2018-07-17: Interview date

The thing about NVC, as I have learnt, is that if you don't call, they will get to it when they feel like it. So if time is an important factor, call. I am sorry I can't tell you what menu option to choose as my husband is my personal caller for NVC :P I will let other members here help you with that.

2 1/2 weeks...would've been quicker but I had to re-upload some of my docs that were scanned sideways. They need to be able to read the docs without turning their heads lol

Because apparently, there isn't a 'rotate' function somewhere in their very baffling, antiquated system? :D

It's 2018 & they've just now created a system where we can upload documents...I'd say we're a good 5 years from the rotate function happening. 😂

Unfortunately we already paid the lawyer in full...suppose to be the best immigration lawyer in Central Florida, but what annoys me the most is that we expedited the I 130 because my hubby is in a war country and the lawyer knows that. So if the expedited was approved and he knows we want him here in the USA then why take your time with the paperwork? That's what's getting me annoyed the most.

Congratulations on your CC. I'm hoping ours will get CC quickly too...but first it must be sent! 😞
