Why do I even call? Just got the same story. “It has been over the time frame so we sent your case to the supervisor for review. It can take up to 6 weeks for supervisor review.”

10 weeks since NVC received our case. 10 weeks of nothing besides despair. I should be strong enough to stop calling. This is not good for my mental health. Not that not calling will be. Ahhh :(

Just to give you a dose of hope, believe me it could be A LOT worse :( such as my situation!

My wife is from Syria and there is a ban that does not allow ANY visas to Syrians! We are going through the process and I am about to get CC soon; but we do not even know if there is a possibility to get the visa!

I changed my consulate...at the time they were taking two weeks to respind to emails..I got another reply in 8 days...so anywhere between 8 days-14 days..you will get a reply with the new case number if you included all the information (name n dob of beneficiary + proof of nationality such as copy of passport etc ) and explain the situation

Did you get your welcome letter? I got today my case number over the phone but not yet the welcome letter

Not yet. When I called, one of the nicer NVC supervisors said I could print out the DS260 confirmation page (as it has a barcode on it) and attach it to the packets and send it in with a cover letter explaining that I never got my welcome letter. Which is what I did. My case is unique that I had to both mail in and upload my documents as I am a pivot case trying to be non-pivot. So I won't be able to tell you if my documents were accepted or not...I have heard that it takes about a week to get the welcome letter..so if you got ur case number recently, I would just wait for a week for it before sending it in.

I really appreciate for the info.

When I put my case and Invoice numbers, the system doesn't allow me to proceed and telling me the case is not eligible for further processing at this time. I think I have to wait until I receive my welcome letter. Wish you CC soon. Thank you!

I just called too. You spoke with Daphne? That was exactly what she told me 10 minutes ago...I don’t even know why I bother calling either!

Yeah I spoke with Daphne. I have spoken with her before and gotten the same exact response. Some of them are so insensitive.

I'm sorry, you're right things could be worse. I shouldn't be complaining but it gets so frustrating. I hope everything works out in your favor.

Cheer up!  At least we have company, plenty of us waiting with you.

I know I won't help but to call again tonight....actually the responses this week are worse than last week....last week they made us think that we are close...this week basically just wait....no idea when...

I read all your suffering, is a hard situation. I am still waiting for a case number almost 10 weeks also and nothing. Is like the NVC knows this.... they are probably reading this forum and having a good time. Lol . On top of that i know that it will take a lot more time to wait for an interview because my embassy is like 5 months behind on scheduling.  This PIVOT system sucks it used to be a good lucky thing to be a pivot now is a nightmare there are probably  people with normal cases that arrived at nvc after ours and they have interview dates already.
