Oh man - its taking that long to get a case number after invoice number?? This process is getting slower and slower... I thought we were just about through. Whats your NVC receipt date again? We're Feb 2nd.

We’re January 31st...so 2 days before you.

Hi I am with you too. 10 weeks today. Please update when you get your case number. I called NVC yesterday and the guy said we should be getting the email with welcome letter and case number this week. I really hope we do.

Following your case. Please do update when you get a CC. All the best!

I hope so! I’ll be exactly 10 weeks on Thu and really getting annoyed with this wait. I hope there will be no more delays after this. I’ll definitely continue to update my timeline and post here if there’s any progress.

I don’t know I have this bad feeling that we’re stuck in a bad time frame. Taking longer than most to get our case numbers. Weren’t most people getting it during week 9?

And now apparently it’s taking them up to 10 business days to even process fees which used to take 2-3 days. This is ridiculous.

I honestly can’t take any more delays.

I got the same feeling yesterday!

But since there is nothing we can do about it...stay positive n be ready to act when the next door opens...it will eventually open!

Yes, you'll see the option in the drop down menu when you choose the file...you can give it a title of "tax transcript" or "tax return"

hey truelove after we submit everything (ds 260, both packages), do we just check status for case and when it goes from Action required: Submit requested documents to at nvc, it means we got a cc? also we can check our account to see if we get messages in case theres any issues?

i think best thing to do is stay on top of them and keep calling and talk to supervisor. after 9 weeks passed i spoke with supervisor and was kind of firm with her why its taking long etc and had case number few hours later. same with my fees when over week had passed push person to send someone to review and then few hours later status changed to paid. or maybe slowly theyre getting even more backed up so if u come in late its taking longer for people towards back of line...

I could never to get them to transfer me to a supervisor... it is also more difficult calling from overseas. They just keep on asking us to wait for the system and email....everything is inputted but just to give the system time to do its thing.

Yes, for me, they emailed me & it said to check my messages. That's when I had to fix a few of my documents & re-upload them. I was checking the status everyday & it stayed at "action required: submit documents". Then I got the email that our case was documentarily qualified...that's when I checked the status & it changed to "at NVC".
