My wife is trying to pay the AOS fee but it keep saying error!,is it because of the DS-261 need to be review by NVC first???

I submitted DS-261 then paid AOS with no problem but it still says " in process " so I don't know if they reject my payment and do it again after they review mine. When did your wife submitted the DS-261?

You should be able to pay your AOS fee straight away. It may take a few business days to clear. Once they have reviewed your DS-261 and accepted your choice of agent, they will send an invoice for the IV fee. They won't let you pay this until the DS-261 has been reviewed. You can always call them and get them to review it on the phone.

If you are unsure if they have accepted your payment, just look in your bank account, if the fee has been debited then it has been paid.
