Thank you for the explanation. I guess I forgot to add EZ :)

I meant Part 9 in i-864, it is for the additional information in this form. the interpreter is in part 7 here.

I am assuming i should put my name? the addition is for the address of the applicant. it was not enough space for all the info.

What do you mean? What part do you need additional information for? You need to be more specific, so people can help.

You need to put all the address into address line. Can’t break your address into 2 parts like that. They would not understand it. You can use all the lines in there (street number, city and town, province)

I called the NVC again yesterday but no news regarding our case number. From reading this threat, I didnt expect this to happen.

As we are moving (well, I am still in Europe but I am concerned about the implications on our visa petition) and my husband is shortly going underway (Navy) - I am at loss what and how to prepare. The lady suggested an expedite based on him deploying but he isn't deploying (less than three months away).

We never thought the NVC stage would take that long. Please help me with feedback regarding this:

1. How do we change an address? The NVC lady suggested to write an email but does that suffice? And do we need to inform USCIS separately?

2. Can he prepare all the documents and I just upload everything myself? Is there anything I need to consider? (other than file size)

As we are moving, I am afraid we may drop the ball on something. I appreciate any help.

Hello again, one more question about the I-864 :)

So in Part 9 for additional information. it is asking for name in the first question, do I need to put the applicant's name or the petitioner's name?

I need to add more in formation in the address part.

thank you

You would put the petitioners name since this form is about them.

the address section for the petitioner is too small. it is in the middle east and i need at least 2 lines to fit it other than the city and country.

thanks in advance

Hi Muhammad - I also used the I-864EZ and filled out as much as I could on the PDF form before printing and completing. When I did that, it automatically populated that field in Part 9. I can confirm it should be the petitioners information. And just make sure you "N/A" any section you do not need, even if it seems excessive! Good luck!

Hi there I got my case number after 11 to 12 weeks as there was a miscommunication between USCIS and NVC. My lawyer emailed NVC and they confirmed with us within a week due to all misunderstanding it will take additional 5 weeks

So 6 weeks it can take to get case number additional 5 to 6 weeks to it.

It would be better to email. Email NVC asap and wait for their reply they would let you know what they can do for you.

try using online size compressor tools it helped me to reduce image size and compress it without compromising on quality.

Hope it helps and works out for you. Good luck

Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you guys! I am estimating by the end of this week or next week I should get a case number because we were only behind you for a 1.5 weeks. Let me know when they schedule for your interview! I want to see how long that takes. Congrats again.
