I just called and the rep asked for all of that information as well. I agree this gives us some hope. I wasn't given an invoice number though. He told me that "looks like everything is in the system and they are doing the last quality check. Once they do that, they assign a case number and send you an email as well." I asked for any specific time frame, he said he can't give a specific time frame but should be within 2 weeks.

I hope you get yours today!

I think they do it in batches...we r probably in the same batch. Pray that we get ours this week.

You need to call them and ask them to review it, if you are talking about appointing an agent.

this is the fasted option.

So here's my assessment. I think whoever is working on your case at NVC works it from beginning to end and depending on WHO gets assigned your case you either get it moving or you don't. It's been 6 business days since they assigned my case and invoice and I still haven't received the welcome email. I called this evening and the lady couldn't review my submitted 261 because I haven't received my email and she said it could take up to 4 weeks from today. Huh?? They should deduct a dollar off of our fees for every day it's delayed (probably should be more like $5- but I digress).

I think if that happens...they will end up owing us pivot cases money...we r waiting 9+ weeks just for a case number...

Yes the petitioner can and I think you can submit both of them online (if your case is pivot), I am not sure if it is not pivot!

Thanks dear,so which one do you print out?

I think you can print out 260.

261 is the choice of agent. After you fill this out and submit it, you need to call NVC and ask them to review it over the phone.

Yes, petitioner can fill both forms. Both are submitted online. But DS260 also needs to be printed out and taken to interview.

Does anyone know if you have to wait to receive your welcome email before you can call NVC to review your 261 ? It's strange because it unlocked this morning for me and I submitted 261 sucessfully but still have not received any email.

Same situation. I also submitted it on april 3rd and called NVC. They told me that they can't review it yet as I haven't received the welcome letter. :(

Spoke to an operator at nvc today and was told that I have to wait 6 weeks for the review of my documents. Scan date 03/19/2018

I believe that's the estimated time frame however last month I've read many people getting CC in 4 to 5 weeks after scan date if no further docs are needed
