@sunil1 If there is one fruit I cannot stand, it is jackfruit. Lol.

I too was able to fill out the DS-261 and pay AOS together. But I wouldn't worry. The system is quite hopeless, in my opinion. Just call them and have them review the DS-261.

Thank you @ms_bobdog. One more day to wait before monday so I can call them and ask to review. I might need to go buy me some more of that jackfruit flavored icecream lol.

Guys,

I have a question regarding the preparation of NVC documents:

How many uploads am I allowed: One for the petitioner and one for the beneficiary? I am asking because I have no clue what you mean when its stated that we only have 2 MB per file. Meaning 2 MB for all the petitioners documents or 2 MB for every document we upload (2 MB for divorce decree, 2 MB for I-1

864 etc)?

And just answering the other question I forgot to... You get to upload a lot of docs... You will have a few required ones and then "others" where you can upload anything else you find important and relevant

When is the earliest you can send all your documents to NVC (non-pivot case)?  I have seen few timelines where people send them after all the fees are cleared and DS260 is submitted. But I have seen few timelines where people send it before completing DS260.

My documents were sent and scanned before I submitted the DS260. You just need the cover sheet with the bar code.

Hi everyone!

nvc received my case on 3/29 I’m still waiting patiently for a case number. Pivot cases are Ceac cases right? If that’s the case I am a pivot case.. called Friday lady told me atleast 8 weeks from 3/29 for a number. Feeling down today since missing spouse.. prayers for everyone for speedy reuniting with our loved ones!!!

I sent it after paying fees, before DS-260 was open and submitted. My logic was that it would take time for the package to travel so why would I want to waste 3 days by sending it after DS-260 submission :P Whatever it is, as long as you have the bar coded cover sheet, you can send off your packages.

Follow the date that they say you can use the previous edition for.
