Im so sorry to hear that, there needs to be a better system, i dont get why they cant track it from the day they received the case, why make people wait 6 weeks, then reset the clock to 0???Hang it there.

I have the exact same question! Why can't they use the same receipt number from USCIS!

This morning we received two notes from the NVC. One said we are documentarily qualified (which I assume is CC). The other said my wife may not meet the minimum income requirements and that we should consider a joint sponsor (but that the final determination would be made at the interview). We were planning on using a joint sponsor but we were still waiting for him to finish gathering documents. Anyone else experience this situation? Should we still upload his documents to the CEAC once they are ready or should I just bring them to my interview?

Congratulations on your case completed. Have you called and asked NVC if you should also upload the documents?

That was fast. When sending documents to NVC did you send them what was on the checklist only or did you send them wedding photos and other extra stuffs ?

No just send them the items from checklist. I sent two copies of supporting documents just in case they lose any

Thanks!

I haven’t called the NVC yet. I was hoping someone here had experience with this type of situation. To be honest, I am dreading having to call the NVC ever again!

After paying the AOS fee and it being marked "Paid," the IV fee still has not opened up. I paid the AOS fee 2 weeks ago... Is this something I need to call NVC about? Or, do I just have to keep waiting?

2 weeks is to long so give them a call. Good luck

I know, it is dreading for most of us.

I don't have a similar experience, but I received an email from NVC today, saying very clearly that I must take action and upload corrected/missing documents to complete my case. Had they require you to upload the documents, I think they would tell you to do that very clearly, so I don't think you need to worry.

Also, only a couple of days ago, someone posted something very similar in this thread, you may want to have a look at last week's posts.

Good luck!
