Received case # yesterday. (Been keeping my timeline updated, but first post here).

 

I believe we are a "pivot" case? The NVC agent told me everything will be uploaded electronically. (Brazil)

 

priority date: June 30, 2017

I-130 approved: Jan 3, 2018

NVC receive: Feb 12

Case # assigned: April 24  - I was able to login and pay both IV and AOS same day

AOS and IV paid: April 24 (still processing, but I see charge on my bank statement already)

 

Here's to a quick case complete!

I think the average right now is 9 to 11 weeks. But then once you get it the process goes really fast!

4-25-17 NOA 1 & sent to TSC

11-15-17 NOA 2

12-26-17 Case sent to Dept. of State

1-08-18 NVC Received case

3-12-18 Case Number Assigned / AOS & IV Fees Paid

Guys need held regarding Aos

Joint sponsor case 

Me and my brother will be sponsoring my husband so will i fill one i864 form for myself and another one will be filled by my brother or do my brother need to fill i864A. . . ????

PD  = 15 DEC 2016

NOA 1 = 21 DEC 2016

NOA 2 = JAN 2018

(AS PETITIONER WAS ON GREEN CARDS THAT IS WHY IT TOOK SO LONG)

NVC RECEIVED = 12 FEB 2018

CASE # ASSIGNED = 19 APR 2018

PAID AOS & IV FEE = 20 APR 2018

FEE DEDUCTED = 25 APR 2018

DS260/CIVIL DOCS/ AOS SUBMITTED = 26 APR 2018

WAITING FOR CC :D

As far as I know, both need to fill I864 and if your brother files for his taxes as married, his wife will have to fill I864A.

6-09-20 I-751 Package received 

06-15-20 Received text with receipt number (MSC-XXX)

06-16-20 Check cashed 

07-09-20 Called USCIS to enquire about NOA-1. Was told it was sent on 07-01-20.

07-11-20 Received 18-month extension letter NOA dated 06-30-20

05-03-20 Received Biometric Appointment scheduled for May24th (NY/NJ area)

Brother is unmarried so in this case we both only need to file i864 only? Seperately off course

Yes but your application will have to mention him as joint sponsor. There is a section where it asks you for it.
