Hello. I just wanted to ask regarding police clearance.

I'm a USC petitioning for my spouse. He already has his police clearance from the Philippines (where he is currently residing), but he's also lived in Saudi Arabia from birth until high school.

Do we still need to get one from the Saudi Embassy in the Philippines? I've read somewhere (also here in VJ, a post around 2016) that if they're not living in Saudi anymore, they won't need to get that police clearance. The only way to get that is to get it in Saudi in person.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

No need for Saudi Police Certificate, where is currently living more than 6 month is enough.

Thanks you

NVC received our documents April 12th, 12 days later we got a checklist for our marriage certificate, incorrect issuing authority.  I am so annoyed at myself that I somehow sent the wrong one when I have the correct version on hand.  I immediately mailed the correct version next day delivery, it will arrive tomorrow at 3pm.  Does anybody know about how long it takes for nvc to review after a checklist?  Thank you

Thanks!

I'm trying to log-in to pay fees but getting this msg:

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

I called NVC and they said I should be able to log-in within 24 hours.. anyone else have this issue?

My case number only worked the next day, so I would try again tomorrow :)

No, you do not email, only upload. Your status will stay at "submit required documents" until you get a case complete & then it will change to "at NVC".

Once you submit all your documents you just wait. They will automatically know you completed everything. Then they will either email you if you need to submit anything else (or for me they messaged me to resubmit a document because it was sideways lol). Then you'll get the email that you are documentarily qualified & that means case complete!

ok , thanks
