It is not the date that your I-130 is approved that determines when NVC gets it. It is the date the USCIS sends your case to NVC. So in your case, it was only sent on 19 April. It takes about one week from that date for NVC to receive it. The 6 weeks is for you to get a case number.

thanks!

I will call them on thursday exactly one week after thy send it!

If it's of any help at all, NVC is processing cases very fast once the case number is assigned. I have seen pivot cases getting CC in a day. I am non-pivot and I got my CC in 6 working days :D

Waoo thats soo fast.

Our embassy would be islamabad soo excited for pivot case😄

Congrats you got case complete at nvc.

Hope soo you get interview date soon!

and one more thing did nvc tell when they receive case by their own or we had to know that only on call?

And if they put case after 8 to 10 weeks in their system and give us case number, how will they tell us they receive our case after one week to status change?

As they always take our uscis reciept number whenever we call and write in their system than reply us?

Just a little confused

@Beast8 With NVC, you need to be proactive. You need to do a lot of calling. You will only know if they have received the case by calling. As for case number, you will know through an email that comes a day or two after the case number is assigned. That was what happened with mine. Before your case number is assigned at NVC, you will use your USCIS receipt number when you call them.
