Thanks for the quick reply. I called like an hour ago and they said it usually takes 8 weeks right now. They cant give me any Info yet. What does pivot case mean? Cheers.

Pivot case means you are going to be uploading your documents online versus others who are mailing the documents. Advantage of Pivot case is that they don't have to wait for NVC to receive your package and scan it. Your case can be approved (case complete) in less than 10 business days if you are pivot case.

According to the NVC to interview spreadsheet, it’s looking like around 50-60 days. May I ask how long did your case take to get Case Complete after you finally uploaded everything?

I am still in the process of uploading documents and did not get case complete yet. I was just trying to get a sense of how long it might take. Based on what I’ve seen, interviews are scheduled around the middle of the month for the next month.

Hello everyone,

On i864 item #19a, do we put total income (line 22 on 1040) or adjusted gross income (line 37 on 1040) ?

Adjusted gross income(AGI) is on line 37 on the 2017 IRS Form 1040. I believe this is the amount to use on your I-864. However, Form I-864 says "...adjusted gross income on Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form 1040EZ." I don't know if that means we still use AGI if we filed a regular Form 1040 and not a Form 1040EZ. I'm just going to assume it doesn't matter which form 1040 was filed, but if anybody knows better, please share!

USCIS:
2017-07-17: Sent I-130
2017-07-21: NOA1
2018-02-12: NOA2
NVC:
2018-03-06: NVC received case
2018-04-12: NVC Case #
2018-05-10: Pay IV fee

2018-05-16: Submit AoS/IV documents
2018-05-21: Scan Date
2018-05-24: Case Complete

2018-05-29: Interview scheduled for July

What I understand is if you have 1040EZ then you take line 37 and in any other case you take line 22. IF anyone has filled out i864 may be you guys can give some insight.

I could've had case complete today but I got a notice to upload a document the lawyers assistant didn't do correct. So hopefully tomorrow it can be uploaded and everything should be fine. Trust me I was so upset!!! But at least I know I'm close to CC
