Has anyone been contacted by canvcepd<canvcedp@state.gov and how long after responding to email can I expect an acknowledgment from them?

Hello. I want to join this coversation also cause I also filed my petition for my mom September 13, 2017, got approved March 29, 2018 And NVC received my case April 18, 2018. I called them yesterday and they told me they didn’t enter yet in their system, they also said it may take up to 8 weeks (I hope it’s not, because that’s a long wait). Is there anyone here, already got their case number? How long did you wait for it after NVC received it? Thank you!

Hi people! How do I know if NVC has received my case already? It's pretty difficult calling them because I am at overseas at the moment. Thanks!

NVC will not notify you if they already received your case. You have to call them. But since you’re at overseas, I know it’s hard.

About 5 weeks if you are regular processing case, 8 weeks and more if you are doing electronic submission.
