Hello @Bos congratulations to you and thank God for journey mercies.

Quick question on the passport pickup registration..

i already have a profile as i previously applied for a US visa few years ago, is there anything specific i need to do again or my updated profile is fair enough? There is no option where i can see my already scheduled interview... Any help??

If you already have a profile that's all you need just update it to your preferred location to pick up your passport. You won't see the date for your visa interview on that page,  that only applied to non immigrant applicants. The only thing that will change on that page is when your passport is ready. It will display there that your passport is ready for pickup. I hope that helps.

Congrats to you and your wife!! Go make life together!

do you know the questions asked?

Thanks. No I do not, but I know they asked her for more recent docs (Police certificates, and marriage certificate). She did not have the latter, she had the marriage certificate from 2016 and they said its too old, they needed a newer one. They told her you have been approved but we still need the marriage certificate, she gave it to them later that afternoon.

My friends!!

I just arrived with my wife from our interview, and her visa was approved!!!!!

I cant believe!!!! :luv:^_^:D:dance::dancing:.. The person who gave us the interview was very nice and funny man, he just asked us a few questions..

What was the date of the wedding?

How we met?

How long do we have together?

He was asked, what I did, if I studied or worked?

the interview only lasted 3 minutes, and the man he did not ask us for any evidence, neither financial, nor our relationship..

I think it was because of how he saw us act, and because of the chemistry we brought.. (for that reason I think it's important to go with our partner to the interview).

The man said that the passport will be ready in less than 10 days!

Thanks very much to all who prayed for us, my best wishes on this long road!!!

Now a nice life awaits me with my wife, I'm so happy!!!!

Weyyy!!!! Congratulations to you both!!! Porfin! He he he. Was waiting to see how it went for you. Thank the Lord!

Hello Everyone , i just concluded my interview and I'm pleased to inform you all that I was approved 💃💃. The whole process has been tiring, but I give all glory to God.

So I was at the embassy by 6am and an official was already separating IV applicants from Non IV applicants. We were asked to stand on a line, open the envelope containing the medicals, bring out your confirmation page of DS 260, your appointment letter and insert in your passport. We moved past there to the main hall were we submitted the shot mentioned documents along with a copy of your marriage certificate, police report and birth certificate. We were asked to go back to the line, we were later asked to come take our finger prints  and await interview. Meanwhile don't fret if they don't call Your Number On time, numbers aren't called serially. So the interview went as follows

CO: Hello (Name)

Me: Hi Good morning

CO: Raise your hand (took an oath to say the truth and nothing but the truth)

CO: can u tell me about your husband, how old is he, what he does. (I answered)

CO: how long have you been married, how long did u date before u married him, why did u marry him (i answered all)

CO: what kind of car does he drive, what is his shoe size, his favorite tv shows, his hobby (answered all)

CO: how can u describe the relationship with your mother in law (that threw  me off but I answered)

Then he said my visa has been approved, I was given a white paper along with some papers  and told me my visa would be ready within some couple of days.

It's okay if u don't know the answer to some of the questions. Just be very confident.  That was my experince at Lagos Consulate today. Feel free to ask any questions

Congratulations on your visa approval
