They asked about my degree formation, experience time in my master's formation degree, my sponsor in US, my salary and if this is has compatibility with a regular salary in US.

Thanks.. I’ve figured it out, it was the non immigrant part of it that was confusing me.

Is this optional? My understanding was the Lagos embassy ask you to come back in 3-4 days to pick up the visa.

Hello everyone ,

 

I had CR1 Visa interview at Mumbai consulate general on 20th April , and thanks to almighty and  so much help from vj and it's members , it has been approved . 

 

My interview time was 7:30 am . However they took me in at 7am and I was out at 8:15 . 

 

It was a smooth process over all . 

 

Wishing everyone all the best . 

And congratulations to all those who are approved .

No it's mandatory. That's how they notify you to pick up your passport when it's ready. I had interview on Thursday and got email Monday morning that passport was ready for pickup.

I stayed at Cumberland Hotel. Their cheapest room per day is 23k. Very close to the embassy. I took the Maruwa bike to the embassy from there only took about 7  minutes.

I have the same status and i am not sure Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents.?? what does this status mean
