We just got done with my husbands interview.

Our interview was at 9am we arrived to the embassy at 6:45am. & we didn’t get interviewed until 10:15-10:30am. When we stepped forward the guy said hi I answered in English & my husband in Spanish. He asked me if I knew Spanish I said yes. Then he asked how my husband & I met? Then he asked how many times I came to the DR? & to tell him a time where we had a fight. & he got approved 😊😊😊😊. Thank you to everyone who kept us in your prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you both!!!

instructions ask you to take originals. Your consulate will receive photocopies of the documents you uploaded/sent

not everything u take is original. for example my wife will take my stuff (tax docs, i864, passport page, employment letter etc) and these will not be original but photocopies...

also u will need to take photocopies of stuff u already submitted as well

The waiting is definitely frustrating  I was going to wait but then I saw CDJ is taking 3-4 months to schedule interviews which would have almost put as at the 1 year since seeing each other last  Good luck, fingers crossed that you get an interview soon!

thank you.

we all just have to have patience but we are almost to the end.

Today I had my interview visa in US Brazil Rio de Janeiro embassy and my visa was approved. Thanks God for everything in each moment in this very long and stressful process. I don't know but I didn't pay anything in the consulate about the green card process or to return my passport at my address.
