Congrats!

We're still waiting, online account is still saying Apr 2019 as a completion date - the SLC office isn't the quickest.

Hope it goes quick for you.

That online account date is so worthless, my wife's shows 5 months (Dec) yet her oath is in two weeks :)

Just got naturalized. 😁

Filed online in February

Did biometrics in March

Had citizenship interview in May

Oath Taking Ceremony was last Wednesday, July 25

When I started this process my projected processing time was 13 months. Mine took just about 5 months.

Glad this is all over! And super glad I filed online. Took out much of the guesswork.

Brilliant 😊 (Sorry.. Harry Potter fan lol)

I have heard that, how does it work? Is there an advantage or benefit to it?

When we get to immigration and I ask for the BB stamp, they won't look at me like I have three heads, right? lol

This thread gave me high hopes, so I sent my I-751 7 months ago, at CSC (2nd week of January) our 3rd year wedding anniv will be next week,.

does it mean I can apply for my N400 already?

nothing happening on my ROC except the 1 year extension letter I received.

90 days prior to the three year anniversary of her green card you can apply. It’s the green card date that counts.

If if you go to the N400 online application it walks you through the requirements and will stop you from applying too early.  However you can start the application and populate all the documents early as long as you log in every 30 days to keep the account active.

You are can file the N-400 once you are within 90 days of the 3 year date for being a green card holder.

If you I-751 is still waiting for processing that case file will be transferred to the service center completing the N-400 .. both will be processed together.

The advantage is a non-Philippine citizen with a Philippine spouse or parent can stay longer than whatever the current limit to stay visa-free is (30 days?).  When you enter through customs ask, they see this all the time and will know.
