twice i entered the USA with my X-ray, i was never asked both time to show the X-rays.

Maybe the 2 officers processing me did not see any reasons to take a look at it (and even so, I am not sure if they are medically trained to spot anything amiss when looking at the x-ray).

Pretty sure you need a special software to look at them. Even if you don't there's no way for them to be able to read them. Unless something super obvious is hard for someone who is not trained to spot anything.

Nope. It's just an image file....I can open it on my PC fine. :)

...not that I don't have a PACS system here too...in case it was a proper image package for an X-Ray. ;)

Interesting. I've never looked at mine (think I tossed it when I moved) but figured it was the same as for hospitals, that you need a special software.

I think the only time the CBP officers would look at X-rays is when they think the person entering the country is transporting drugs in their bodies (they are not qualified to check for TB, etc).......and they wouldn't rely on the person to supply the x-rays....they have an x-ray machine for that purpose.

DISCLAIMER:  I have never experienced x-rays as described above, but I have seen TV programs which have depicted such circumstances..:D

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

In those circumstances they send them to a hospital for x-ray. At least on those episodes of like border patrol etc that I've been watching :P
