When did you file, I got a notification that my interview  was schedule today waiting on the letter to see when  is it

Hi Shanshanjamrock! Hows everything going? When was your interview scheduled?

I got a notification today saying my interview has been scheduled.

Question to everyone interviewed and has their interview date already: how long do you wait for your interview from the day you have been notified that your interview has been scheduled?

We’re out of town, I cant access my mails til we get home and I just want to have an idea coz I already had planned a trip to other state end of this month for my birthday.

Thank you.

Thank you for responding, I can see you get your interview date in less than a month when you got your notification. I hope I will have mine after my trip so I dont have to reschedule it.. sigh**

Goodluck to your upcoming interview.

Hi! Yes I applied online on April 7, 2018. I had my biometrics last April 30, 2018.

Is your naturalization also based on 3yrs or 5yrs?

My Removal of Condition was approved just this August.

Hey,

I applied for I751 in April 2017 and N400 on April 17 2018 based on 3 Years. I did my biometrics on May 4 2018. Still pending on interview letter. I think I am getting closer. Hopefully I can get the interview date soon. Good lucky in your interview.

When was your I-751 approved? I wish you the best! For sure yours is also closer since we filed around the same time.

This is my only concern. My I751 wasn’t approved yet.

Did you have youy I751 approved after filling out the N400?

I thought they combine the cases when we apply for N400 with I751 pending.

Not really. It took around 5 months after filing n400. I was one of those papers transferred to Nebraska. Were yours also transferred?

After filing online I was a bit hesitant coz I went to get my passport stamped and they took my “expired” greencard. I asked the officer if its not going to be a problem in case my naturalization interview comes before my removal of conditions get approved, her answer was really disappointing. She told me I should’ve waited for ROC get approved before filing for N400. She even told me that once the N400 sits in their office for a year (since ROC is still pending and no one knows how long its going to take to get approved) I should be reapplying for another N400 since my case will be closed if untouched for a year. I went home really disappointed coz I was just doing what I thought was the right thing. For me, it isn't our fault that ROC processing was so back logged. We are entitled to apply for N400 after our greencard’s 3rd yr anniversary so thats what I did. Some people waited but I did not, I wanted to be over with all these paper works. Its so stressful and it costs a lot so when I got eligible to file, I did not let anything stopped me atleast for now I’ll just have to wait for the result.

I didn’t add my name on the timeline. Funny but I dont know how 😂

Wow I really appreciate all the details.

My ROC was never transferred. Its weird how they process differently the cases in the same office. Our timeline is really similar though.

I could imagine your frustration in that appointment, but happily everything went fine as everything will be in our N400 as well. 🙏🏽

I never went to get a stamp. I got my 2 letter extension in August 2018 and it is valid until January 2019. Hopefully it will be all done before that.

Did you check the website to see if there is already your interview date ?
