Then a half day later she received the letter in the documents tab of the portal.

But you should note that the time it takes to schedule and then the time it takes for the letter to show up on the documents tab is pretty much dependent on how fast your local office moves. I've seen people report some significant lags - 1 month and longer. And one person never received their letter and had to call USCIS just to find out when and where the ceremony was scheduled. I would give it a few days and see what happens.

So in my case, it appears they do want additional evidence which is highly unusual as I supplied them with a pile of documents and then some both when submitting my application and at interview. I did have notification yesterday my pending I-751 was transferred to a new office that has jurisdiction. So assume the local office are doing something! But seems I won’t be in a November oath and have to give more evidence.

I think once your I-751 arrives to a new office that has jurisdiction they will approve it and approve your N400 as well. I hope I’m right. 🤞🏼

Thank you! I really hope so. The officer said in the interview he couldn’t approve because of the I-751 and then said he will try and get me into the oath in November. He repeated that to my lawyer too and said as I left the room “see you at the ceremony”. Then about 10 minutes later I got the RFE requesting 3 years worth of history for my marriage even though they already have this from my I-485 and I-751 for which I submitted folder sized thickness bits of evidence.i also provides updated documents at the N400 interview which he was satisfied with. The transfer of the 751 happened two days ago. Any idea how long it takes for them to receive files?

Hi guys,

Today, Nov 3rd, I received one email and two text messages about a case update. My interview was scheduled yesterday, Nov 2nd, in SATX. The interview letter is still not available online. I expect I’ll be able to access it tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I’m guessing the interview will be in December.

I’ll update the table once I find out when they scheduled me.

Hopefully the rest of you see some movement on your case soon, too!

When it comes from USCIS i have no exactly idea how long it takes. They are unpredictable, specially with all the delay what is going on right now. it’s all new to them who is not properly advised how handle all this situation.

But based on previous histories that I had been following and reading, after the N400 interview with I751 pending, they say they cant made the decision, send the I751 for the office who can analyze again and approve it. After around 10 days they approve the I751 and change the N400 status to “awaiting Oath”. I still think this is what will happen in our case. For me it no makes sense request more evidence now. Let’s be positive. 🤞🏼

Fingers crossed! I’m hoping to hear something next week but I’ll still send off my evidence that they have requested, regardless of how much I’ve already submitted. Hopefully the officer will get around to reviewing it quickly as he sounded like he wanted to be efficient at least. I’ll follow up with them 2 weeks after it is received. Thanks for your input, I’ll keep you updated.

Had our combined interview for removal of conditions and citizenship last Thursday at the St. Louis office.

It went for very well. Officer was very laid back stated he was recommending approval for citizenship and we should receive a letter in about a week with official outcome and details for the oath ceremony. We are so thrilled!

An update for you all, I sent my RFE yesterday for the N400 (though I’m convinced this was still an error and didn’t receive the RFE letter by mail, just online only) and today I received approval on my I-751. No news on N400 yet but I’m hoping with the I-751 approved, they go ahead and take care of the citizenship. We will see! Any idea how long it takes after the I-751 approval to see movement on the N400? I had my interview 8 days ago. Thanks all!

Thank you so much! 😊 you were right! I hope you’re right about the N400 also. That would be wonderful to get it all done by the end of the week. They received my package with additional evidence today so hopefully they can review it quickly and get me scheduled but we will see. Praying your right! Regardless, I appreciate your input 😊

You were right!! “Oath Ceremony will be Scheduled” notification just came through. What a relief! Now I have to wait for the date... I hope they give me a date quickly.
