Thank You so Much For your quick Response

Hi Wessam,

No worries! You can do it! You're from MA too that's great! The people in Boston are very friendly and the IO's so do not worry. You might need to eat first before going there since there's a little delay on my end like I waited for almost 2 hours. Bring all your original copies of paperwork too and of course, the interview letter and green card and you're all set :) Goodluck!

Congratulation sweet01

please we need to know what kind of personal background question he ask you

thank you

I also suggest that you listen to the audio of 100 civic questions. That really helps a lot on my part as I listened to it every day:) If you can, just ride a subway ( either red line then the green line on Gov't center or orange line Haymarket since it's walking distance from the Boston office ). The parking are expensive :) Wish you the best!

It most likely depends on the ASC (application support center) where you are supposed to get your fingerprints done.  I walked into the Gardena ASC and everything went well.  I just brought my print out of the biometric appointment letter and my green card.  I showed both items to the receptionist, gave me a piece of paper to fill out, waited in line and got my picture and fingerprints taken.  The entire process probably took 15 minutes or so.  I have heard many good things about the Gardena ASC, how they are all nice and that they allow early walk ins.  Fotunately, it is true!  Best of luck to you!

I had the same experience on the same Gardena ASC. They are really nice and the work-in there works really well. Good luck to you all.

Aprilfiler - looks lilke we have the same timeline in Los Angeles. I filled the N400 on April 17 2018. Crossed fingers to hear something back from USCIS soon.

Hi Husbandandwife! Yes, it looks like we have about the same timeline.  I am also hoping to hear from USCIS soon.  However, I was looking at the timelines of other Los Angeles filers (from the Trackitt website), and it looks like it takes around 7 months from the fp date to get the interview letter.  :(  I hope we'll get it sooner! Please keep in touch.  Let me know if anything changes for you.  Good luck!

Hi guys,

One question, my online USCIS account says Estimated Completion time: 8 months May 2019. I filed on April 28, 2018. How accurate is that?

My local field Office is Miami. If I go to USCIS Processing times, put N-400 and select Miami FL it'll say Estimated time range 16.5 to 21 months which would set my N400 completion at August/September 2019.

I don't know which one to believe.

Any experiences?

When my wife filed N400 on April 24, 2018, the initial Estimated Completion time for the Abq office was 12 months. She has her oath ceremony on Sept 24, so we beat the estimate considerably in just 5 months. However, the current USCIS processing times for Albuquerque is listed as 5.5 to 17.5 months so on the one hand it's a really broad range but on the other my wife's experience is actually within the range. Obviously they won't allow you to make an official service request until 16.5 months (the beginning of the Miami range), but I wouldn't let that stop you from calling the USCIS # and bugging them every so often.

How did you transfer to San Bernardino? You changed your address'? I just heard that San Bernardino  office is usually faster than LA.

I moved to a new address which is in San Bernardino County so had to update my address on all of my applications. It should now be dealt with by San Bernardino Office which is a good thing! But we will see how long it takes. I won't hold my breath! :)

Hi andfp,

When I first looked at my timeline online it also estimated my case completion to be 8 months then when I checked again it changed into 4 months so I think it depends when the IO in charge on your case already finished checking on it ( I think) since I filed April  then had my interview August 31 then the upcoming oath ceremony will be on Sept 20. Hope this helps.
