But: A decision cannot be made yet about my application. The reason is my pending I-751 file!

I do not know yet just because I did not receive the interview date or interview letter.

Oh Gotcha... keep us updated. I traveling and this is one thing i don't want to miss while i am abroad. 

 

Btw; you can login to your online account and download a copy of your interview notice from there under the document section of it. It will be exactly the same as the one that you will be receiving in the mail. I got my biometric from there.

I checked online, it did not update yet on my account. It still has " We reviewed your biometrics". I have been checking my online account all day today for the letter lol.. Hopefully it will update by tomorrow.

Hello everyone! 2 hours ago I went to my infopass appointment to get an extension stamp on my passport "while my extension letter will expire on June 10" 

The agent was friendly and was very well. But he did not give me a stamp, he told me "something means" that the stamp is not optional. He said if I have an emergency thing or something that forces me to have a stamp, I should bring the letter to proof that. Then they will give me the stamp at the same day! Also told me according my extension letter expires on June 10, I could come in June 9 to get a stamp. Yes just one day before the expiration date! 

I know that the cases is very vary between an office to other, and between an agent to other. 

Also I asked him about my I-751 case, he told me yes it's at NBC now, and they might make a combo interview to me. I asked about my interview date "because I get a notification yesterday that my N-400 interview was scheduled" He tried to see and checked, but he told me that the date it is not determined yet. It will determine at any time!

Hi everyone-

 

I posted this in the N400 May 2018 Filers but no one seemed care and answered LOL

 

My I751 was approved a month ago on 04/14/18 and I have since then been waiting for the GC to arrive. Unfortunately, there's still no sights of it.

I'd like to file my N400 online in May. Do you think it's possible to submit the application without the GC and provide it later?

Given that my 2-yr card and the 1-yr extension letter were taken away when I came to my infopass appt to get my passport stamped.

Has anyone experienced the same? Is it safe to submit it now and log back in to add more documents later?

Given that my 2-yr card and the 1-yr extension letter were taken away when I came to my infopass appt to get my passport stamped.

Has anyone experienced the same? Is it safe to submit it now and log back in to add more documents later?

don't worry, you will be fine. Apply for your N-400 if you have met all the requirements. I think you will get your 10 years GC soon, before your N-400 interview. 

But if your N-400 interview came and you still don't have the 10y GC, just bring with you at the interview your 2y GC + your extension letter + your approval letter. These are good enough.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The Post Office picked up mail containing the new card.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/18/2015 The 2 years Green Card in hand.

 

I-751 (ROC)

03/13/2017 Sent I-751 documents to CSC.

03/14/2017 Package received.

03/16/2017 Check cashed.

03/??/2017  NOA received.

03/14/2017 NOA dated.

03/27/2017 Biometrics. "walked-in" 

02/26/2018 Case transferred to my local office.

05/01/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/03/2018 Case transferred to another office. 

05/07/2018 Received letter in mail, my case was transferred to NBC. "Letter's date is 05/01/2018" 

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval. 

06/30/2018 Received the approval letter in mail.

 

N-400 (Under 3 Years Rule)

04/02/2018 Applied for N-400 Online. (I-751 is still pending) 

04/02/2018 Received NOA Online (Received in mail on 4/03/18).

04/27/2018 Biometrics.

05/14/2018 Scheduled the N-400 interview.

06/21/2018 Interview's date.

Passed the English test and the U.S. history and government test.

But: A decision cannot be made yet about my application. The reason is my pending I-751 file! 

06/27/2018 The case was approved (with the I-751 approval), and placed me in line for oath ceremony.

07/09/2018 Oath Ceremony was scheduled.

07/20/2018 Oath Ceremony.

I've been waiting for my GC when applying N400. My i751 was approved on April 23th, and I just applied N400 on May 5th. I also took my biometric on May 09,2018. I think you are fine for applying N400 base on 3 years rule. Good luck friend.
