Field Office -- I am unsure since my mailing address is close to San Fernando Valley, CA but my physical address is close to San Bernardino, CA. (We can just put San Fernando Valley, CA for now)

My husband did his biometrics as scheduled yesterday. Last night his case went from 12 months to completion to 10 months, but now today it's showing 11 months. It also says "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment." Is it common for them to post the wrong thing? I have a hard time believing that they have really scheduled his interview this quickly after biometrics.

it seems like there is a bug going on and i was just wondering if everyones status says the same. FEB and MARCh peoples status say their interviews have been scheduled.

My husband's status (on the old site) shows that his interview has been scheduled even though he only did biometrics yesterday. When I check the new site, it shows that they have received biometrics and are reviewing his case.

The new site is correct, the old site is incorrect. 

I-485 (AOS)

04/01/2015 Sent Form I-485.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The Post Office picked up mail containing the new card.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/18/2015 The 2 years Green Card in hand.

 

I-751 (ROC)

03/13/2017 Sent I-751 documents to CSC.

03/14/2017 Package received.

03/16/2017 Check cashed.

03/??/2017  NOA received.

03/14/2017 NOA dated.

03/27/2017 Biometrics. "walked-in" 

02/26/2018 Case transferred to my local office.

05/01/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/03/2018 Case transferred to another office. 

05/07/2018 Received letter in mail, my case was transferred to NBC. "Letter's date is 05/01/2018" 

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval. 

06/30/2018 Received the approval letter in mail.

 

N-400 (Under 3 Years Rule)

04/02/2018 Applied for N-400 Online. (I-751 is still pending) 

04/02/2018 Received NOA Online (Received in mail on 4/03/18).

04/27/2018 Biometrics.

05/14/2018 Scheduled the N-400 interview.

06/21/2018 Interview's date.

Passed the English test and the U.S. history and government test.

But: A decision cannot be made yet about my application. The reason is my pending I-751 file! 

06/27/2018 The case was approved (with the I-751 approval), and placed me in line for oath ceremony.

07/09/2018 Oath Ceremony was scheduled.

07/20/2018 Oath Ceremony.

I added your information on the list. You missed your green card date & your case code "NBC/IOE" could you complete it?

 

Then go to this website https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices and put your mailing address's zip code to know exactly where is you field office.

so my biometric appointment was originally set for 5/2 i walked in early on 4/23 but they rescheduled me to 4/25 (today), go it done. My case estimated time originally said 14months (Jun 2019) but now it changed to May 2019 (13 months). Question: how do we see the next step? e.g. people are talking here that they are in line for interview etc. 

N-400, Naturalization Journey:

Filing date: April 11, 2018

Filing method: Online

NOA1 date: April 12, 2018

Biometrics date: April 25, 2018

Interview scheduled/rescheduled: Jan 11, 2019/Feb 13, 2019

Placed in line for Oath: Feb 15, 2019

Oath scheduled for: Mar 21, 2019

Wow, that’s fast! Great for you guys! Is this a joint ROC/N400 application?

I did an early walk-in today for biometrics and my case status on the old website says Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS and the new site still says We Sheduled You For Biometrics Appointment. It may take like a day for the new website to refresh itself, I guess. My “completion date” also dropped 2 months, from May 2019 to March 2019.

You mean th next status update? Well, it varies, I guess. Some people received “we reviewed your biometrics” after the appointment, some people like me received the “case is being actively reviewed by uscis”. The next case status should be “in line for interview” but I’m not too sure. What was your case status right after the biometrics appointment?

Well, maybe for that case but when I check my status online, the old website has the newest update which is Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS and the new website still says We Scheduled You For The Biometrics Appointment. I did a walk-in earlier today, the new website probably hasn’t refreshed itself yet. On the old website (I use the app case tracker) my case status updated right after I was done with the biometrics appointment. I don’t know if this is happening for you guys as well.

I actually don’t know, I never did the I-751. I did the biometrics at a regular USCIS office and I guess it’s the same place I would have gone for I-751.
