Hi there,

I have received a notice of action I-797 stating that my petition has approved and my case no will be forward to NVC. it's for the permanent resident filing for his son over 21 years old. i would like to know what will happen since i received that notice around 5 months ago and didn't receive anything else after that.it's be around 5 and half year since the case was applied. Thanks

Is your son still single or married? 

If he is single it would be F2B visa and if he is married it would be F3 visa. 

 

For F2B visa right now cases from 2010 are being processed.

For F3 visa right now cases from 2005 are begin processed. 

This info is for India by the way.
