My husband filed I-130 in May 2018 and received a notice of action indicating that he filed the old form. He then filed the new form the next month after. But didnt receive a new notice of action. He thought the receipt number was just the same so he did not make a case inquiry at uscis. It was 9 months now but he did not receive any update in his case. Upon cheking if the basis is month of June 2017, his case is outside the normal processing time. He called the uscis several times but until now he didnt receive any answer. What you can suggest to do?

Sadly no. The only assurance we have is that it did not return to my husband back again. Knowing it was a money order. So he became so reluctant believing it was normal not to receive new noa. :(

How to know if the check has been cashed out?

If you got the money order at the bank it is best you contact your bank and request information to see if they can check if the money order was cashed.

What if it was not cashed? Is it mean they did not able to receive the 2nd package?

Good luck !!!!

If it was not cashed there is a really good chance they didn't receive it... they always cash payment...

Sorry to hear..he should've received a receipt letter with the receipt number a few weeks after filing. .all the best

Thanks. 😔 A lesson learned to us. It was our fault in the first place by not checking if was really received or not by the uscis.
